High Point School Teaching Assistants are a part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for assisting with the implementation of IEP goals and objectives, behavioral interventions and to assist in maintaining a safe classroom environment.


Assisting the teacher with the instruction of academics, pre-vocational training, behavior management and promoting social and emotional well-being.


A High School Diploma/GED is required but a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidate should have an interest and ability to work with students with various classifications and behavioral disabilities. Must also be flexible and enjoy working in a team environment. A valid NJ driver's license with a satisfactory driving history is required.
