Social Worker/Clinician - Justice Involved Services Program - Eatontown, NJ


The Social Worker/Clinician will work within a jail diversion program and will communicate/coordinate with jail, courts, police, probation and parole. They will work in collaboration with the consumer in planning, implementing, and evaluating service provisions in order to maximize the consumer's independence and success in the community.


The Social Worker/Clinician will communicate/coordinate with jail, courts, police, probation and parole.  They will work with client and legal system to advocate on client's behalf.  They will complete initial assessments, prepare a treatment plan; provide case management services to clients and their families including, documenting ongoing treatment and discharge planning symptom management, assistance with structuring and performing basic daily living skills including money management. Development and support of social and recreational activities, consumer psycho education and support family and significant others education and support. Consumer advocacy, crisis intervention, securing and maintaining community integration including addressing housing needs and financial resources.


Must possess a clinically-oriented Master's Degree. If Professional Counselor, must possess LAC. If Social Worker, must possess LSW. Must have prior experience providing treatment services to adults, children or adolescents. Experience with evidence-based practices is preferred. Valid NJ Driver's license with clean record.
